Members of the Crittenden County Coalition for a Drug Free Community held a prescription medicine collection service last week at the Farmers Market in Marion, Kentucky. The effort collected more than 3,000 pills that might have fallen into the wrong hands if left in Medicine cabinets. The plan is to take unneeded or outdated medications out of the county and have them properly destroyed. Pictured holding the bags of pills are Virginia Oldham of Pennyroyal Mental Health Center, Constable Billy Arflack, Robbie Kirk of the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, coalition chairperson Brandi Rogers, City Police Chief  Ray O'Neal and Sheriff Wayne Agent.
